Lawton Idiomas is centrally located in the prosperous area of Plaza San Miguel, close to shops, banks and bars and 2 minutes walk from San Lorenzo Beach. We have been teaching languages in Asturias for over 40 years. Our staff is enthusiastic, motivated and friendly. Our teachers hold university degrees and are experienced in teaching Spanish to foreign students.
In general our courses are geared to the needs and aims of the individual student or the group.

Spanish for Expats / Spanish for beginners
The course consists of 2 lessons per week. It is designed for people who want to learn or improve their language skills while enjoying the Spanish lifestyle in their spare time. The focus is on the practical aspects of the Spanish language and the development of oral and written skills used in a wide range of everyday situations. All aspects of grammar are covered. This course is also available combining 5 or 10 hours of individual sessions in the afternoons to allow students focus on subjects that are of particular interest to them to improve their fluency and accuracy in the shortest possible time.
Levels
- Elementary: A2.
- Intermediate: B1 / B2.
Course Information
- Duration: 2-3 hours weekly.
- Times: 9.30 am to 11 am or 10:30am to 11:30 am.
- Groups: Minimum 4, maximum 10 students per group.
Private Classes
If there is a specific aspect of the language that you want to concentrate on, or the time you have available is limited, then this is the perfect solution. The course is customized to meet your needs and learning pace. The course may be for you alone or for a private group.
